Fernham Homes is an award winning company that has been building stylish new homes in Kent, Sussex, London & Surrey for over 20 years
Every one of our beautiful new-build homes has been designed and built to the highest quality. Our experience and attention to detail mean we always create impressive homes in the most sought-after locations.
Inspired by traditional Wealden style with a combination of brick, timber, tiles and weatherboarding, each home complements its surroundings and demonstrates our meticulous craftsmanship.
Fernham Homes was formed by Ian Fern and Michael Canham in 1997, with its first site secured in Paddock Wood for five houses. The following sites acquired were in Marden (four detached houses) and Headcorn (eight detached units). David Masters, with considerable experience in planning, joined the company in 1998 as a third equity shareholder.
Soon after its formation, the company acquired its first offices in Maidstone. These have subsequently been redeveloped as the development Farleigh Heights, Tovil with the company relocating to Tonbridge in 2016.
Fernham Homes has a strong competitive advantage, with all of its construction work contracted out to AB Canham, a company formed by Michael’s father in 1974 and now run by Michael. The company has forged an excellent reputation, with an NHBC A1 builder classification and over 100 employees in its ranks.
The business has a proven track record in carrying out enabling works and refurbishments of older buildings.
