New shared ownership homes in Alrewas

Welcome to Green Acres, a choice of 2 and 3 bedroom shared ownership homes set within a conservation area beside the River Trent in the well sought after village of Alrewas. Carefully designed and built by 5* builder Crest Nicholson to meet the needs of modern living, these homes will appeal to first-time buyers, couples, and families looking for a little extra space.

Local Area Restictions

These Shared Ownership homes have been specifically built to meet the needs of local people and priority will be given to applicants who have a connection to Lichfield District Council.

The local area connection is based on you having been a resident (or employed within) the Lichfield area for a number of years (usually between 2-5) or have family connections – for example, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or adult sibling – who have lived in the area for at least three years.

Staircasing to own 100% of your home at Green Acres

Our homes at Greenacres are available to purchase from 25% to 75% shared ownership. Once your home is purchased you will have the option to increase the amount of your shared ownership home that you own. This is called Staircasing. The greater the share you buy in your home the less rent you will pay to your home. Ultimately staircasing to buy 100% of your home, means you become an outright owner, and you will no longer need to pay rent.
